EARLY STREET CAR TO THE HEIGHTS
This picture belonged to Mr. C. A. McKinney, who was in charge of Mr. Carter's street car interests. This car was No. 49 of the Houston City Street Railway Company, and it is believed that it was decorated for the first run to the heights.
Street car service made possible the opening up of the new addition to Houston.
