The Heights Cultural Calendar involved Frank's students in a multitude of tasks geared toward one goal--the creation of a calendar, which depicts the Heights' cultural history through picture and word. His students began by taking photographs of buildings, people, and objects, which they felt represented the community's rich culture. To these photographs, students added stories from their own life histories. With word processing software, Adobe Photoshop, and Print Shop, Frank's students created their final product.
